Donna Schmid has spent more than 25 years helping individuals, leaders, and organizations recognize their potential and translate it into meaningful growth and measurable results. Her experience spans executive coaching, leadership development, organizational change, team building, program development, training, and human resource management, with extensive experience in healthcare.

At the heart of Donna's work is a belief that lasting change begins with understanding what is possible. She helps individuals clarify their vision, deepen self-awareness, recognize and leverage their strengths, and develop the emotional commitment necessary to move from intention to action.

Her work with organizations brings together principles of organizational psychology, leadership development, and human behavior to help leaders create greater clarity, alignment, and accountability. She works with leaders and teams to move beyond simply communicating a vision toward creating the shared ownership necessary to bring that vision to life—strengthening leadership capacity, communication, collaboration, engagement, and organizational performance.

Donna holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Professional Coach. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to bring psychological depth to the practical challenges of leadership and organizational life, understanding both the individual and the larger system in which they operate.

Throughout her career, Donna has owned a private counseling and consulting practice, served as Director of Talent Management for CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Hospital, and taught at the Graduate School level at Boise State University, the College of Southern Idaho, Capella University, and Tulane University. She has also served as a guest speaker at Texas A&M University.

Her speaking and training experience includes engagements with the National Association of Social Workers–Idaho Chapter, Idaho State Police, Women in Business, UT Southwestern, CHRISTUS Health, and Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Italy.

Across each of these roles, one principle has remained constant: development is not about fixing what is wrong. It is about recognizing what is possible—and intentionally developing the capacity to achieve it.

Grounded in Jungian psychology, Donna brings psychological depth to the practical work of leadership and development. She helps clients look beyond external expectations to understand what genuinely matters, recognize what may be limiting their potential, and make more intentional choices about how they lead, grow, and move forward.
